Yves Rocher haul

During my recent trip to France, I visited the Yves Rocher shop in my local town. Yves Rocher is a brand that I own a few products from so know that their products are of a high quality. The shop was also holding a big sale when I went, so I bought a few things.

I bought 5 shower gels because they were only 1.50 each and all smelled divine. I always like to have a selection of scents because it's nice to be able to switch things around sometimes. I bought the scents Ylang Ylang, Tiare flower, Orange, Lime and Lavender. They lather really well and leave a subtle scent on the skin after showering.

I bought two lipsticks as they were only 3 . Numberr 42 is a creamy lipstick that applies smoothly onto the lips. It's quite pigmented and would be a lovely colour for the beginning of autumn. In the tube, the lipstick looks quite shimmery, but the shimmer doesn't really transfer onto the lips.
Number 12 is also very creamy and very easy to apply. It's a really pretty nude-pink and has a very slight shimmer to it. The lipsticks last quite well throughout the day, needing probably 2-3 top ups.

I received this moisturiser in a Glossybox a few months ago and loved it. It's such a light moisturiser that it feels lovely to apply in the mornings on a sunny day. To me this smells of melons which is lovely and refreshing. It contains ash tree sap extract, macadamia oil, shea butter and organic witch hazel water and comes in a lovely glass jar. The cream isn't too thick so doesn't need lots of time to work it into the skin, but there is one problem I gave with it which is it takes a while yo absorb, so this isn't one for using when in a hurry to apply make up over the top.

This body lotion is quite a thick lotion, but absorbs really well into the skin. It smells deliciously citrusy and the scent really lingers on the skin which I like. I love that it's in a bottle like this because it's easy to get the product out.

Kiko nail polishes

I've recently returned from a trip to France and whilst I was out there, I discovered a brand of make up I'd never heard of before; Kiko Make up Milano. I was really impressed by the store - the counters were full of colour coordinated make up and everything was very fairly priced. What really caught my attention was the nail polishes - they were lined up on shelves, all colour coordinated perfectly. These are the four shades I picked up:

317 - Dark antique pink

224 - Dark pearly copper

381 - Purple grey

217 - Antique pink

The nail polishes are in my opinion very impressive for only 2.50. You only need two coats for a completely opaque finish. The finish is so shiny that it's not really necessary for a top coat. I've been wearing the shade 224 for almost a week now without a top coat or a base coat and have experienced very minimal chipping. I highly recommend anybody to go and check out their website http://www.kikocosmetics.co.uk/ . They are currently holding a very good sale so be sure to go and check it out soon!
